Inventory Feed Documentation
Import the Zargar Rugs inventory into your own website or marketplace with one XML feed.
1. Access
The feed is a single HTTPS address. It is protected by a secret token that we give to each partner. Email us to request yours.

Without a valid token the server answers 403 Forbidden. Keep your token private. If it leaks, tell us and we will issue a new one.
2. Syncing
- Every request returns the full inventory, not only changes.
- The feed is refreshed every 5 minutes. Hourly or daily syncing is recommended.
- Format: XML, UTF-8. Currency attribute: EUR.
- A full request is about 1 MB.
3. Fields
Each rug is one <product> element.

| article_number | Our article number. Not unique: the same number can be used for rugs of different sizes. |
| unique_id | Unique and stable key for one rug: article number + length x width (e.g. 11533-292x236). Use this as your key. |
| status | active, reserved (on loan, do not sell) or sold. |
| stock | 1 for active rugs, 0 for reserved or sold. |
| updated_at | Last change to the rug (ISO 8601). |
| name | Rug name. |
| main_category / category | Main collection and sub category. |
| length_cm / width_cm | Size in centimetres. |
| thickness_mm / weight_kg | Thickness and weight, when known. |
| origin / material | Country of origin and material, when known. |
| images | Photos in order. Position 1 is the main photo. |
| colors | All colours present in the rug, comma separated (optional). |
Optional fields are left out when we do not have the data. Treat a missing field as unknown.
4. Status and sold rugs
- active: available to sell.
- reserved: temporarily on loan. Do not sell it.
- sold: no longer available. It stays in the feed for 30 days, then disappears. Take it offline when you see this status or when it is no longer in the feed.
Every rug is one-of-a-kind. Identify it by unique_id, which does not change for the same rug.
5. Photos
- Photos are listed in order. Position 1 is the main photo.
- Links are the files we uploaded (.webp) and stay the same unless the photo changes.
- Please download and host the photos yourself instead of linking to them live.
6. Prices
The feed does not contain prices. Prices are given on inquiry. Contact us for the price list.
7. Orders
Because each rug is unique, please email or call us as soon as you sell a rug so we can mark it as sold and avoid a double sale. Include the unique_id in your message.
